Technical Seminar was organized on Cloud Computing on 01st March, 20223 at Block A, Seminar Hall by Technical Instructor of ITC Web Developer Learning Centre. In this seminar, students learn about the working of Cloud Computing ,it’s types ,its functions and how practically we can use AWS.

A technical tour was organised on 20th Feb, 2023 at Ducat Learning Centre sector 14, Guru gram on Data Analytics using Machine Learning by the Technical Instructor of Ducat Learning Centre. In the session, students learn about the how data are very crucial now a days and how machine learning help students to pursue their career after graduation. Use of emerging technologies in industry, different career perspective for the students

An technical workshop was organised on 14th Feb, 2023 at Block A auditprium on Machine Learning & Python by the Technical Instructor of Ducat Learning Centre. In the session, students learn about the working of Machine Learning ,different models we can create with the help of Python Language.

Glimpses of the Seminar
An Interactive session was organised on 22nd March, 2023 at Block A auditorium on Metaverse, Immersive Media & Gaming by the Technical Instructor of Arena Animation Pvt Ltd. In the session, students learn about the Metaverse which is created by convergence of physical and virtual reality, Science Fiction, VR, AR. Gaming is an interactive entertainment how can we use it .
Aspirants learn from the session how use of VFX and Animation help students for their career perspective. At the end there is a Q&A round in which students & faculty participated interactively.

Glimpses of the Seminar
This workshop was organized by DPG School of Technology and Management, Gurugram on 11th November 2022.This session is dedicated to Big Data Hadoop and Data Analytics. Mr.Sahil discussed about different Excel software like Power Bi, Libre office. He discussed how excel is different from SQL. He discussed that excel data is limited to our system whereas SQL data can be linked on server. We can share the data on the server. Data in Excel is limited to 1,048,576 rows whereas in SQL there is no limit. He also discussed about SQL, Oracle & SQL server.
Mrs. Shalki highlighted why there is need of Big Data over SQL. SQL only handles the structured data whereas Big data handles the structured/unstructured & semi-structured data using various software like Hadoop, HDFS, Scala etc. At the end there is a Q&A round in which students & faculties participated interactively. A technical seminar was organized by the Department of Computer Science on October 18, 2022 at Block D Seminar Hall on Digital Marketing and Web Technology by the Technical Instructor of Webs Jyoti Training and Development Center. In this seminar, students learn about Web Designing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing (SMM), Online Advertising, Content. Aspirants learn from the use of internet how different brands connect with the customers. At the end there is a Q&A round in which students & faculties participated interactively.
Technical Seminar was organized by Department of Computer Science on CCNA Techniques on 12th October, 2022 at Block D, Seminar Hall by Technical Instructor of Jetking Cybercity Gurgaon Learning Centre. In this seminar, students learn about the various fundamental networking, LAN switching technologies, routing technologies, various protocols, and networking elements in IT positions. Interested in learning about the various IP addressing schemes and basic network infrastructure security and infrastructure services. The Last session was Q& AQ round in which students & faculty participated interactively.
Technical Seminar on C and Java Technology was organized by the Department of Computer Science on November 16, 2022 at Block D, Seminar Hall by the Technical Instructor of SOFCON Training and Development Center. In this seminar the students learned about the installation, features, applications and usage of C & Java technology engine optimization. Candidates learn about various aspects of C and Java technology. Last session was Q& AQ round in which students & faculties participated interactively.
This workshop was organized by DPG School of Technology and Management, Gurugram on 9th November 2022. This session is dedicated to the programming Language Python. Mr. Altaaf trainer from TCA discussed the need of python over other programming language and also discusses the applications of Python in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, IoT and many more.
Ms. Seema having10 years of teaching experience with TCA provided the hands on session on Python for the students. She has started with how to download the python from python.org. She provided the practical training on IDLE & Jupyter Notebook. She performed various programs and also taken the query from the students.
Quiz competition was organized by DPG School of Technology and Management, Gurugram on 21st June 2022.It was a three round competition which covers the areas of general knowledge, English vocabulary, and personality recognition rounds. There were six teams with six participants and gave a tough battle to each other in all the three rounds. It was a very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. Although, all the team actively participated, team C (students of BCA A section) and team B (students of BCA B section) bagged the first and the second position respectively.
The students of DPG STM participated in the inter college competition conducted by KIIT college of Engineering, Gurugram on May 11th, and 12th 2022. The event was organised by Haryana State council for Science and Technology.The competitions were held in six different fields like idea generation, quiz competition, poster making, debate competition, website designing and slogan writing. The students participated in idea generation, website designing and quiz competition and secured first price in the idea generation competition.
DPGSTM celebrated the international yoga day on 21st June 2022 by organizing a yoga session in the morning for faculty members and students. The chief patron of the event was Shri Amit Yogacharya, Yoga instructor master’s in yoga from Himalaya University, Garwal. The faculty members and the students actively participated in the yoga sessions and made the event memorable.
The students and the faculty members participated in the national seminar on “Reaching the Unreached Through ICT” organized by Govt college, Gurugram on June 18th 2022. The event was sponsored by Department of Education, Haryana . The chief patron of the event was Sh Rajiv Rattan , IAS Director General , Higher Education, Haryana. Ms Shivani Sharma (Assistant professor, DPGSTM) and Ms Sini Koshy(student of MCA) presented a paper on the topic “Craze of coming generation towards social media”.
The Fresher party with the theme of “PRARAMBH 2021” was organized on 25thDecember,2021. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. This was a memorable day in the life of every fresher of batch 2021-22. The function started with the Saraswati pooja and the lamp lightening by the Dignitaries and the fresher were formally welcomed into the DPG family, the jury and the other guests of honors were also introduced followed by the cultural activities of the freshers.
DPGSTM organized guest lecture on various field of management. Mr Anoop Garg (Senior Chartered Accountant with 20 years of successful experience in accounting, tax Consulting and Business Advisory) provided valuable insights about the scope of various specialization in MBA and leadership styles. He also shared his thoughts about personality development, data analysis , scope of MBA and online websites like Flipkart and Amazon. Further he provided insights about new challenges for finance specialists and the importance of disclosures in financial statement.
A farewell party was organized by DPGSTM for the APGDCA students on 18th June 2022. The farewell function started with an opening song. Some of them delivered speeches relating to their experience in the college. The day was a memorable one both for the outgoing batch and the teachers.
A Dance Competition was organized at DPGSTM for students on 03rd May 2022. The competition began with great zest and excitement. The participants dressed in colourful costumes, twirled around, and set the stage on fire with their thrilling performance. The first position was secured by Sunil Rajvanshi(Student of BBA),who stole the hearts of the audience with western dance.
An annual excursion was organized for students on 18/5/2022 to 22/5/2022 to Manali. These trips are tailor made to facilitate the students to know and understand the real, multicultural world. Over there, they enjoyed the thrill of river rafting, paragliding and many more adventure sports. The trip was memorable, and the students thoroughly enjoyed.
